Mele Kalikimaka a me Hau'oli Makahiki Hou! !

Yes, it has been a while since I last blogged. Lots has happened since then. Happy to be back and actively growing and developing our programs and advocacy work.

A portion of all proceeds goes to the Hawai'i Foodbank, Virginia Peninsula Food Bank and we donate supplies to the Peninsula SPCA. Mahalo (thank you) for all of the aloha and support so we can make an impact in our communities year-round.

Our studio is now mobile which means we come to you. We are offering sewing, etiquette, Hawaiian quilting, and Polynesian culture and dance classes and workshops.

Stay tuned. 2024, here we come.

2012

Aloha kakou! It's been a year of growth for 'Ohana Arts Studio. Lots of changes, lots of improvements. I would like to thank all of my customers and clients. We couldn't have done it without you! Mahalo nui! Thanks a lot!

I will be blogging more often this year. Stay tuned. :)

Okay, okay, it's been a while....

but I am back! :)

'Ohana Arts Studio has finally moved into a bigger suite. Yay! More room! We grew from a homebased business in 1993 to a retail space that is around 1100 square feet. Lots of room now.

We are currently taking registrations for studio classes for July and August. Fall is just around the corner and I will start working on the fall and winter schedule soon. Busy, busy.

Our Polynesian dance classes are filling up nicely. I used to teach thru parks and rec, but now I have a dedicated space where I can offer classes any day of the week and not just one day out of the whole week. Huia!

We are taking bookings for luau and hula parties. Lots of events coming up. So happy!

Okay, time to work on a costume for one of my private clients.

A hui hou. Until we meet again.

Summer is here!

It's not only time to think about summer vacation, but also graduations and weddings! This is an awesome time to think about giving your new graduate or happy couple a gift certificate for some sewing classes and a sewing machine.

What better way than to gift them some sewing classes at 'Ohana Arts Studio! Sewing is a gift that keeps on giving. Think about what they can sew after enrolling in our classes.

Please check out my website at www.ohanaartsstudio.com for more information.

Mahalo nui loa! Thank you very much!

I am in Kaimuki now

We managed to make it to Maui and then O'ahu. Beautiful people. Beautiful islands. Beautiful everything! Hawaii is a definitely a special place.

I will be going to the Big Island this Saturday. Until then I will be enjoying family time, food, friends, and the beaches on O'ahu.

My wish is for everyone to experience the beauty of the islands and its people. Or 'Ohana Arts Studio/Kinderhula/ Polynesian Dance Studio can bring the islands to you.

Malama pono,
Lisa
